Extreme Concepts Camp – Yorkville, IL
This camp lasts for 3 1/2 days. We are only accepting 60 players into this camp. We only take players that have at least 1 year of Point Guard Elite Experience 10th grade – College (age requirements) or by invitation. The 9am-12pm session will start with a 3 hour training session each morning working on all OtterBasketball concepts at the advanced level. These 3 hours will be intense and very demanding from footspeed development, conditioning, strength training, game shooting, passing, to first step development off the dribble and out of triple threat. The second part of the day will run from 1:00pm to 6:00pm and players will go through classroom lectures as well game simulation drills in preparation for game application. Players will take OtterBasketball principles and begin applying them to game situations vs. defense. The 3rd part of the day will run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm will be a CONTROLLED scrimmage situation. Players will play while coaches break down and analyze with them their decisions made on the floor.
In 2025 OtterBasketball will begin inserting more recruiting expertise into our programming to further support our players and their families in the ever challenging and ever-changing recruiting process. Given the on-going changes in NCAA legislation, the transfer portal, and an overall shrinking amount of opportunity for high school players around the country we felt it was crucial to provide families with expertise and a potential advocate for their sons and daughters to navigate this process. At this year’s Extreme Concepts camp, players will hear from an expert on the recruiting process. Here are some of the topics that will be covered:

- Differences between D1, D2, D3, & JUCO
- Generating and Preparing for Recruiting Visits
- What level to target in my process
- What are coaches looking for
- What does an offer mean

Not only will players learn about this process, but parents will have the opportunity to learn as well and have the opportunity to schedule a 1 on 1 meeting with industry expert, John Patterson.
